The Arc of Tempe is a non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities. We have been in business since the early 1960's. The program started with a preschool for children with disabilities. Now we operate as a recreation program for teens and adults with disabilities as well as a thrift store. We are in the process of building a new community center for our recreation participants to enjoy. Search our website further for more details.
Recreation Program Mission Statement: To enhance and maintain the quality of life of individuals with disabilities through recreational, educational and socialization programs. As well as promoting independent leisure and daily living skills.
Membership is only $15.00 per year for three members in the family. This includes mailing list items, voting privileges etc.
Membership is renewed every February.
